I certainly can't, since that's all I know, and I don't know anything else
that I can't pass along (I haven't signed any non-disclosure agreements and
haven't been given any private or secret or sensitive information except one
thing from a TLC attorney, but it wasn't related to this). There's probably
a lot more that I do know (about othet LD-related stuff) that I can pass
along, but probably most of it as already been covered by Brad.
I think it totally makes sense for LEGO to do custom MOC kits someday --
if they can -- because it's something just waiting to happen, and we all
know that AFOLs are better at designing sets which appeal to AFOLs than
TLC, which is great at designing sets which appeal to kids or JFOLs.
The idea of custom MOC sets actually goes back to RTL in 1996 -- it's not a
new or novel idea by any means -- although from TLC executive viewpoints, it
might be novel idea. I think it would be totally awesome if they did do it.
Sorry I can't provide any actual info -- just basically that LD is aware that
it's something they *could* *potentially* do if they really wanted to. I
guess that's the main point.
