First off, I have extreme respect and appreciation for what the Lugnet
administrators have done.  I'm sure the job is a thakless one, and I wanted • you
all to know that I appreciate the difficulties that arise with such a task.

Couldn't agree more...

That being said, I want to express my support for a change in policy regarding
TLG's ability to post elsewhere on Lugnet. • [SNIP]
I appreciate TLG's desire to be a part of the AFOL community. I hope the • numerous requests to change this policy
don't fall on deaf ears.

After so many postings have been asking for that change, I just wanted to give
my vote for the 'status quo'. TLC can never be part of the AFOL community: they
are a company that wants to make profit (nothing wrong about that) - we are
adult fans. Of course we can have exchange of minds and any discussion might be
helpful for both sides. Lego Direct is doing a good job and provides us AFOLs
with lots of good stuff, that I never would have expected to see a fe years
ago. I think we can get this stuff, because TLC (Lego Direct) has learned to
listen to us.

Finally, I'm sure a large number of people recognize your need to keep future
release plans a secret; but I'm also sure people will continue to ask.
Responding "We can't discuss that" is perfectly fine, and it let's us know • that
the concern has been acknowledged...

Agree.
(Another answer could be: 'Information has been forwarded to the xyz-LEGO
department')
To answer on any other requests outside lugnet.lego.direct I think the way
ROSCO has suggested is perfectly ok.

Thanks for listening!

P.S.  Any plans on releasing some Lego mecha? (Just kidding!  Sheesh! ;-) )
