The old style rails are currently in production for the HP Gringott's Bank
set.  However, looking at the 6390 scans, they are not used for the slider:

My guess is that the old slider method isn't as smooth as what they have
offered recently and want to improve on the set design.

(...) I'm wondering just what new baseplates it will come with. Hopefully not the green ones! I would've thought that it would've said they if they were a different color. As for the tree, probably 100% of the cypress trees that were made are (...) (23 years ago, 13-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)
