Re: Chrome Knights now at LEGO Shop At Home

(...) Shouldn't this be in either lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade or lugnet.market.shopping? ;) Very nice news, Brad! Steve (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: "Chrome" sets 4816-19

(...) But to what end? Does it really seem to you that Brad or TLC is more likely to respond to your acerbic tantrums than to a politely worded request for information? If in fact TLC is slow to respond in any case, does it seem probable that (...) (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.lego.direct)

Since, I think, everyone here or using S@H is already pretty interested in Lego, I don't think it's hurting anything. (...) (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Chrome Knights now at LEGO Shop At Home

(...) Why should this get Brad in trouble (unless after all of his string pulling, very few people order these item)? I wouldn't count on seeing the chromed items in bulk. I doubt they'd sell more than 1000 of each pack, which undoubtedly is far too (...) (24 years ago, 15-Oct-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: S@H exclusive minifigure has been shipped! (#3723)

Hi all, Brad is correct that the set is 99% basic bricks (depending on what you consider basic). However, there are plenty of these 2x6's and 2x8's as well as 2x10's. Most of these large bricks are blue or red, on the other hand there are many (...) (24 years ago, 15-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

I'll take the bait... (...) Yes, I wanted to be kept informed in exactly the manner you describe. The fact that many meetings may have been held to accomplish this maneuver on the part of TLC would suggests a bloated management structure to me and (...)   Re: Chrome Knights now at LEGO Shop At Home?

Jared, When I called the regular S&H number, I received the same response. They then forwarded me to a customer service # where they recognized the numbers, but still had limited information. Thanks to 2 phone lines and LUGNET, I was able to verify (...) (24 years ago, 14-Oct-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Chrome Knights now at LEGO Shop At Home?

Hey Everyone, I just tried to order the Chrome Knights sets via S@H, but the operator told me that they don't have any of those set numbers.... Is there something special that you have to mention to order them? Are they all sold out? Or is it just (...) (24 years ago, 14-Oct-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: S@H exclusive minifigure has been shipped! (#3723)

I am curious about the piece makeup in the mini-figure. It seems very expensive given that it appears to be made up almost entirely of basic bricks. From the picture in the S&H catalog, it seems like you could by about 5 $20 "blue tubs" and build (...) (24 years ago, 14-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)
