Re: Official vs. unofficial LEGO postings

I'm weighing in here on Frank's post because I think he's onto some good ideas. I think Todd is on to some good ideas, too, and here's why I think so. The beauty of .lego.direct is that it is a place where we *know* TLC (LD) is listening. (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.nntp, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Open Source Lego

(...) That sounds about right to me. (...) Whoops, wait...I need to interject something: I agree with you that not everything we might hear from TLC is marketing. However, it's all part of the _marketing strategy_, including the fact that AFOLs were (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.general)

Re: Official vs. unofficial LEGO postings

(...) Good idea Frank. Have you seen this post? (URL) hope Todd can sort out the multiple identity crisis so there's less of this messiness. --DaveL (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.nntp, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Open Source Lego

me, for one, would like better commuctaion to legos people. id suggest some things to be added to bulk, like wings, etc and add pick your own color for bulk ie: 100 clear 1x8 even if would add to price tag. one thing would be very nice, make all (...)   Re: Official vs. unofficial LEGO postings

(...) I'd recommend lugnet.lego.shop.announce (or just lugnet.lego.shop - though that might invite discussion about LEGO shopping avenues. Hmm, I just had an idea. Set one or more lugnet.lego.xyz.announce groups, which only TLC can post to. Then (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.nntp, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: A letter to Todd

(...) You certainly don't know that the vast majority feel that way. You know that about 10 to 12 highly vocal people are complaining and about 4 or 5 generally quieter people are agreeing. (...)   Open Source Lego

I'd like to extract one issue from the "LEGO and its Fans" thread. How do we, the fan community, want to interact with TLC? And in what ways can TLC, or parts of TLC, interact with the fan community? Some background, for those disinclined to throw (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.general)

  Re: ME TOO

ME TOO. The more postings from Lego employees anywhere on lugnet the better. Their signal to noise ratio is unusually good. (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.admin.nntp)

Fw: Re: Bionicle.com has been updated!!!

And there we go, another posting from me! You'll wonder: "That guy again??? You can rest easy, I actually didn't want to post here now, but some unfortune AFOL whose employer is sadly called "LEGO" was not able to post here in this newsgroup, (...)
