If you figure out what pieces you need, you can create instructions for an ugly "alternate model", and build the real model when you get the parts. (...) I am cautiously optomistic about this entire revelation, but I am skeptical about whether or not they will have an extensive part/color inventory for us to use. I will agree that as Bulk parts become available I will almost definitely cut back on the number of sets I buy but I will more then offset that with my bulk (...) Hello LUGNET, I wanted to let you all know that LEGO Direct is paying attention! There are a lot of discussions and meetings going on inside TLC right now about the issues mentioned in this thread.
