  Looking for a cord...

Hi, all, We have an old Lego Dacta kit with SO many parts I hate to give it up. But we need the interface cord between the card in our old Apple II GS and the black power/controller box. Any chance of finding/busying one? Thanks, Doug Clements (18 years ago, 13-Jan-06, to lugnet.lego.dacta)

Re: Communication Speed, PC -> RCX, LEJOS!

I dont think the joystick is the problem since I have the same problem with inputs from keyboard or mouse, but (...) (...) I could not repeat your experiment exactly because I don’t have a joy stick. So instead I wrote a pair of programs that send single byte messages between the PC and the RCX. The RCX adds 1 to the incoming byte and immediately send it back. The (...)   Communication Speed, PC -> RCX, LEJOS!

Hi everyone, Im working on a project with controlling a large Container Crane by 4 RCXs. I have implementet some controlling and a lot of functions in the model, including a userinterface made in Java for a laptop. The crane is controlled by a (...)   Old LEGO Daca stuff in your closet?

We have a bunch of kids in our school who have been having a great time building stuff with two old LEGO Dacta (PC Controlled, wired) set of parts. Many of them are 1st to 3rd grade, and usually don't get to do our Mindstorms LEGO projects yet. But (...)   Re: An alternative? (WAS: Technic's only in a coma (WAS Technic's Dead ))

No, I live about 1 1/2 hours drive from the store. I don't think they are allowed to ship outside Canada, if I'm not mistaken. Matthias Jetleb (22 years ago, 17-Sep-02, to lugnet.lego.dacta)

Re: Anyone know how speedy Pitsco Dacta is?

(...) Interesting. Of course I haven't been home today, so maybe it showed up while I've been here at work, but it's now been... 9 days since I ordered them (6 business days) and nothing yet...   Re: Anyone know how speedy Pitsco Dacta is?

(...) I've found that Pitsco is significanly slower than LEGO Direct. Most of the orders we place for the college end up taking twice as long as an order from LSAH. Steven B.   Anyone know how speedy Pitsco Dacta is?

Ordering from Shop @ Home is great. Especially living in Massachusetts. My world record for speed was actually (technically) the next day after I ordered it. However, I've never ordered from Pitsco Dacta before, until this past Saturday, when I (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shipping, lugnet.lego.dacta)

Re: New PITSCO LEGO Educational Division catalog

All: I wrote to Tim Lankford (tlankford@pitsco.com) regarding the ROBO Technology Set noted below.   New PITSCO LEGO Educational Division catalog

The former PITSCO LEGO Dacta (the US-market-only educational distributor) catalog just came. It has some interesting things. I'm not sure, but I think this thread has now had more name changes than a dead LEGO product line. ;) (...) Name changes (after 20+ years of being in use) are a silly exercise.
