Re: Market Street Preview on LEGO Factory

(...) It looks pretty good; I am impressed that Lego has gone back to the basics and provided sets that are designed so you can build... buildings! It seems that for a while the sets were becoming too specialized. Now all they have to do is make (...) (19 years ago, 3-May-07, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: Market Street Preview on LEGO Factory

What can I say, that looks fantastic! modular within the model itself and modular in the sense of joining with the Cafe Corner. If this is just the start of a new section at LEGO Factory I can hardly wait to see what is coming next (after I buy a (...) (19 years ago, 2-May-07, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: Parts, Parts, Parts

(...) I think the catch was that while AFOLs were quick to jump at the chance to own one of these sets, they were NOT so quick to buy *more* of these sets. It seems as though a lot of AFOLs who owned the original set were passing up the opportunity (...) (19 years ago, 30-Apr-07, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Parts, Parts, Parts

(...) Hi Damon, I enjoyed reading your post and share many of the same sentiments. I recall LEGO saying somewhere that generally speaking, sets re-released as Legends do not sell very well. This seems odd to me, since I would jump at the chance to (...) (19 years ago, 30-Apr-07, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Parts, Parts, Parts

Dear Lego Direct; With the introduction of the Lego Factory/Pick a Brick site you have given to us a huge resourse. Thank you. There are some items that I, personally, would love to see reintoroduced to the Pick a Brick assortment. I understand that (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-07, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: What happened to the original list of Core Values?

(...) Ah! We were typing at the same time. Thanks, Thomas. I see on that site that the list is labeled: "10 Important LEGO Features" rather than "Core Values". ..Also interesting there is a list labeled: "10 Important Requirements for LEGO Effort (...)   Re: What happened to the original list of Core Values?

(...) Ah, here it is. From the book, "50 Years of Play": The 10 LEGO Criteria for a good toy, guidelines for development of the product: 10 Important LEGO features 1. LEGO = unlimited play potential 2. LEGO = for girls, for boys 3. LEGO = fun for (...) (19 years ago, 26-Apr-07, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.faq)

What happened to the original list of Core Values?

I've been looking around online for a copy of the LEGO Company's famous list of Core Values (which they had showed off until at least.. 1999?) But I'm stumped! I don't even see it in our old rtl FAQs. Does anyone have a copy they can post here? And, (...) (19 years ago, 26-Apr-07, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.faq)

  Re: LEGO MMOG?

(...) Looks like this could really be big--might be a good idea to set up another forum just for this. Eventhough the last game I really played addictively was Munch Man on the Texas Instrument TI??? computer, I can envision all kinds of things that (...)
