Re: LEGO Factory updates and insight

(...) Jake, is there any chance the system requirements for LDD may get reduced? I run some pretty graphics intensive programs on my pooter, but LDD still requires more than the 4M RAM I have on my video card. ROSCO (21 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: LEGO Factory updates and insight

(...) Awesome. If you need an additional OS-X beta test person, please let me know. Ray (21 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: LEGO Factory updates and insight

(...) The Mac version is good news, even though I'm not a Mac user. It shows there is commitment to this project and I think that's great. One question... will there be any further work on the PC version to try and correct the video driver issues? (...) (21 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.lego)

Re: LEGO Factory updates and insight

(...) I am very happy to see that the MacOS community is being included. Two massive thumbs up for that decision. Dave (21 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: LEGO Factory updates and insight

(...) Oh baby, baby! Recognition! That is awesome, Jake! Please let the decision makers on this one know that Mac users appreciate the effort:-) JOHN (21 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: LEGO Factory updates and insight

(...) A first step is always a learning process, and I hope everyone tries to keep that in mind. I was very jazzed about the introduction of the contest, and although I didn't win, I still am looking forward to the next iterations of this project. (...)   Re: LEGO Factory updates and insight

(...) Simple! Use LDD, post your models, and get your friends, family, and colleagues to do the same. Nothing drives a developer more than working on a successful project. (That an a never ending supply of Mountain Dew) Jake --- Jake McKee Community (...) (21 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.lego)

Re: LEGO Factory updates and insight

(...) Wow! That's fantastic! Finally, I (and my family, and most of my friends -- what can I say, we Mac users tend to travel in flocks) will be able to participate! Now, how can I send your Mac developers a free pizza, or otherwise encourage them (...) (21 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.lego)

Re: LEGO Factory updates and insight

(...) Oops... sorry to reply to my own post but I just noticed one issue - there's not one product coming, there's 10. You can see the winners here: (URL) It's been a long week of document writing and apparently my brain has turned to mush. Jake --- (...) (21 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: LEGO Factory updates and insight

snip snip (...) Good to hear an explanation (finally). However, this still doesn't explain: my son's entry was disqualified even though he didn't cheat (and he had enough votes to be one of the 8 winners) one person could win four times. I know the (...)   Re: LEGO Factory updates and insight

(...) Jake this is all good news, thanks for the update. It's a pity that there was some oblious cheating going on, but it sounds as though it is being addressed. The MAC OS version is also great news. And of course you final statement is the best (...) (21 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Shop At Home Updates

I just received this note from my Shop At Home colleagues and thought I'd pass it on: As most of you might have seen already Europe has re-launched #10152 Maersk 2005 Sealand yesterday evening. The set is already available to ship in Europe and (...) (21 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: Release dates

(...) The arc was pretty clear from castle to pirates to cowboys to adventurers. Not to mention Star Wars. If I have snipped out your other examples of where Lego might go next, but I think if you want to find out where Lego goes next, visit a toy (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.lego)

(...) Old Ole Kirk is propably turning around in his grave about these militaria sets. A stab in the back of every idea of childs play on which Lego was founded. Those galidorsaurs are only a very weak coverup for an attempt to cater for a gun- and (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.lego)
