(...) Considering what I have in mine and what Gary writes I wonder if the 2x6 plate could have been put in versions at the end of the set run to test it out or to use some they may have produced. I have the set 112-2 and Peeron says that the above mentioned part is in this set, but it is: x469apx1 Electric Train Motor 4.5V Type I 4 x 12 x 4 with 4.5V Pattern If I have a look at some other instructions, I found that also in that instruction (...) (17 years ago, 2-Sep-07, to lugnet.inv)

The Inventory for 112-2 on Peeron is wrong! Please have a look at the inventory on Bricklink where it is correct. As I own this set I can confirm that it has no Plate 2 x 6. Aug 31 6861-2: Super Vehicle not sure how this set was figured out. It is way off. I think that someone combined the sets used to make up this set. Not all parts were used from the other sets. There is no box for this set. The instructions were from (...) (17 years ago, 31-Aug-07, to lugnet.inv)

And if that's not confusing enough... I also have 2x6 plates with "Pat. Pend." removed from the mold in red, white, blue, yellow and black. Some of the plates had the "Pat. Pend." removed from within one of the circles, others at the edge of the (...) (17 years ago, 31-Aug-07, to lugnet.inv, lugnet.parts)

Wow, What's funny is that John is purchasing some old plates from me right now, so this discussion is rather Deja Vu! John, does that gray plate have Pat. Pend. on the underside? (...) This was a strange one in that the instructions did not show the detail of the roof. Mine is in very good condition with what looks like all original parts.
