Thanks to Todd and Suzanne for setting up this new newsgroup!

To get this newsgroup started with a bang, let me re-pose the question from
another thread (http://news.lugnet.com/build/?n=12360)... What constitutes a
Building Instruction anyway?

After the great thread above, the BrickFest roundtable, and several other
follow-up conversations, I have updated the BI Portal site to reflect my new
thinking:

"For the purposes of this site, we define a "Building Instruction" as any
means that allows one person to share an idea, concept, model, or design
with another person."

http://www.bricksonthebrain.com/instructions/faqs/index.cfm

But what do *you* think? What *IS* a building instruction anyway?

Jake

Seems simple and straightforward enough definition to me. -- Thanx~ Nicole (URL) (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jul-02, to lugnet.inst)
