  Re: To clarify...

No, no, no...this wasn't a flame, just an intro for those who claimed to be new. And as for believing everything you read...perhaps the internet isn't the place for you...your head could explode! :-) Matt (...) (23 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: To clarify...

(...) Okay, so maybe i'm an idiot for not backtracking, but I have a bad habit of believing everything i read.. so please forgive my idiocy -the Rascal King (23 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: No Victoria Lug homepage?

(...) Hey...I still have photos on film from the last VicLUG meeting I was at (I plead that they are B&W, and I haven't done any developing in 2 years...) I think Randy A. has a decent site, but not particulary a "VicLUG" site. James (23 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  To clarify...

For those who haven't grasped the last threads left here at .harrypotter: We were arguing the final form factor of the Harry Potter line in general. There are no pictures. There are no teasers. There is nothing to see here, move along folks... (...) (23 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: No Victoria Lug homepage?

I totally agree. This committee fails to show evidence of the existence of Victoria Lug, and the pictures of the minifigs. Please some one show action. I cannot stand having to sit and wait while I also suffer being deprived of HP lego and teasers. (...) (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  No Victoria Lug homepage?

After the hope that I might find the holy grail of Harry Potter sneek peeks, I used LUGNET's extensive database on all the LUG of the World, and found that Victoria LUG is a LUG from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I even read the newsgroup (...) (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Re: Harry Potter Movie Preview and Lego!

Re: Harry Potter Movie Preview and Lego!

  Re: harry potter movie gallery

(...) Thanks for making it so easy!! It was Soooooo easy that I was all over Victoria Lug and couldn't find them anywhere. Can you make it a little LESS easy? I'd like to see the pics. Katie (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: Harry Potter Schoolbooks

(...) Go Buy Book 4 it is the best one. (heck each one gets better than the previous despite how good the first one is.) I am not going to give away anything but I will say that it is totally awesome. -Mike Petrucelli aka Lord Insanity (23 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: minifigures in robes?

judging from the pictures that were mysteriously put on-line..... "not affiliated" with JK Rowlings or with movie producers... I'd say the robes look more like school blazers with house crests on the chest...that's my take on the situation. (23 years ago, 29-Apr-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  harry potter movie gallery

talk about a complete mind blower....those are some great pics... I think they reveal too much of the movie...err....well show too much of the movie...that is.... no real shots of Ginny Weasly or the others, except Ron, Percy, and their mother....I (...)   Re: Magic and Wands

Hey Ben, Good thoughts. You might want to put a *Spoiler warning* in your message though, that you are potentially "spoiling" the books for someone who hasn't read them yet. It's courteous to do so, because I'm sure there are fans who haven't (...) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: minifigures in robes?

(...) Die Harry-Potter-Figuren sollen MINIFIGS sein, keine Creator- oder Belville-Figuren which means "The Harry Potter Figures shall be minifigs, no Creator- or Belville figures." The implication is shall in the English 'will' sense, not the (...) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: Magic and Wands

(...) I'll agree partially to that explaination. In book 1, when Harry is in Diagon Alley to buy things for school, he and Hagrid go to the wand shop. The wand shop says that its the "wand that picks the master" and that "no two wands are the same" (...) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)
