Ok, ok, I decided to give my .02 American dollars.
Arctic: I don't get it. Why are they rescuing glowing green and orange
scorpions and spiders from hunks of ice? The sets look halfway decent, though,
and I already have tons of ideas of what I can do with those ice block tops
(They might make groovy skylights)
Cas.., err, Knights' Kingdom: Why'd they change the name? Oh well, at least
the sets are returning back to decency.
Robo Riders: I don't get it. Throw Bots from Hell? Why do we need a new batch
whose goal is not to just throw frisbees at each other, but to "Race and
destroy!" everything in general? Oh well, they look good for parts. Those
trans blue spears on Frost make it a buy on my list.
Adventurers: Jurassic Park? Cool. Kind of unoriginal, though.
Technic: If we are only getting the throw bot ripoffs and the Star Wars stuff,
I am severely disappointed. What's that you say? Those race sets are Technic?
Hah!
Town: More juniorization, yeah yeah..
Star Wars: Groovy. Especially the Falcon. They CAN do good things with bad
pieces (UFO sections)
Model Team: Wow. Those are awesome. They look to be made of 1000+ pieces,
making them very expensive, though :( (Or so I'm guessing)
Soccer: WHY CAN'T WE GET WHAT THE EUROPEANS GOT?!?! THOSE SUCK!

| Well, I have to disagree on the Arctic part. Maybe those animals aren't being rescued at all; maybe they are fossils or monsters frozen in the ice for eons before being unearthed to wreck havoc among a small team of explorers. I think Lego had given (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
