Well, I know where my money is going next year.

Some thoughts:

7184 (MTT): 2 (maybe 4?) extreme corner slopes in dk grey!  WAHOO!  Also,
several normal extreme slopes in dk grey, and all that brown.  IF my eyes
don't deceive me, those are 2x2x2 slopes in brown towards the back - can you
say "peasant dress?"  I can see myself wanting 1(0) or 2(0) of these...

Looks like yet more SW minifigs that translate nicely into a castle setting:

7181/91: Ultimate Collector's Series: Gaaa.   Aaaaa. <wipe drool from
keyboard> Wow.  I have got to get me some of them.  Just paint a target on my
forehead, and call me market.  Depending on price vs. piece selection, I may
get 1, I may get 10.

Knight's Kingdom: Well, the 2x2x3 extreme corner slope in blue just kind of
jumps out and says "HI!"  These look better constructed than FK was, but I'll
have to wait until I've got the models in my hands to compare them against RK.
I DO like the new crest.  The color scheme and barring make the lion look
considerably less cheesy.  I'm lukewarm at best on the stained glass thingie.
I would have been happier if it wasn't on one of the flippy-doors.  I also
have a high cynicism factor which thinks it's not transparant.
The new 'lion face' fresco might be good, might be bad, it's hard to tell from
the picture.  New tower w/window piece.  <YAWN>.  It's smaller, to make your
towers even LESS useable structures.  I'm dissappointed with the apparant lack
of real doors.
All the new siege engine things vary from "Neat" to "???", I suspect I'll end
up getting most of them though.  I definately like the catapult bucket, though.

Adventurer's 2000: Enh. <shrug> Whatever.  I might be non-apathetic if the
sets are cool, but otherwise - Enh.  I'm just not a dinosaur freak, I guess.
I liked Adventurer's much better when it was "real"

Artic: Neat.  Looks like there's a fair bit of pre-fab in these, but it seems
to work ok for this.  I like the polar bear, but I'd like it more if it was
posable.  The treaded vehicles look well-designed, to me at least.  Hey Space
guys - is it just me, or does one of those wall pieces look like an airlock?

Is that another new cockpit piece on the new RC car?

all in all, I'd say it will be a good year for my collection, and a bad year
for my wallet.

(...) Just from looking at the scans I'd say I will get at least one of everything except maybe the MF, the MF is EXPENSIVE. I'm more likely to get a higher quanity of the 7155 (ATT) just because it looks cool and has a TON of tan, so a couple to (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

(...) Mmmmmm.... If those really are minifig dresses I think I just found my favorite set of the year for parts. (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)
