Yes, amusing. But really, part of the problem was that we didn't want to
scare people off -- that's why Eric didn't want to have signs at first. I
guess we underestimated the lack of respect people would have.

Don't get me wrong. I don't think that would be the best option, just a
humorous one. I'd go for the rope long before the SG idea.
I can't believe the audacity of some people to do some of the things that Eric
mentioned. Man, talk about no respect :(  I guess the signs kind of did the job
though.

(...) Na, all you need to do is call on the RCN. I'd be -quite- happy to show up, even in uniform (that always gets looks, even at school, where we are in uniform 4/5 days...) I could even build a model of my ship (using white instead of gray (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)
