Ian-
We all feel your pain; we all live with the frustration surrounding life as an
AFOL. We are stupid; we are fiercely loyal, we keep coming back, and we won't
switch. Be that as it may, I don't think an embarrassment campaign is the
answer.
Have you seen the letter so elequently composed by Gary Istok to TLG? This
seems to me to be a much more sensible approach to getting TLG to change their
ways. If we picket as you suggest, we will come off to the GP as a bunch of
*quacks* who play with kid toys and who have no lives. Nevermind it's true (;),
but I don't see how revealing this will help any.
Biting the proverbial hand just seems to me in the long run as
counter-productive. BTW, you lament the extinction of the castle theme. Have
you heard the rumor that it is being revived? Would that make it all better for
you?;-)
