    Scale of figures —Ray Sanders
I have a question that has been on my mind... What scale are the different figures ? And which catagories of sets are the figs of the same scale ? So far I know about minifigs, the figs in Technics (Chopper Force, etc). Is Bellville the same scale (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Scale of figures —Greg Majewski
(...) I have asked this question before on RTL, and the answer I received was that Belville are not the same scale as Technic, though I don't know if they are larger or smaller. In addition to these three scales though, there is also 'bendy people' (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Scale of figures —Charles Seyferth
(...) But then again, the "bendy people" (maxi-fig?) had minifigs as infants/todlers. I always liked to use them as giants. My sister thought otherwise.....         Re: Scale of figures —Scott Arthur
Belville and Technic are about the same size, the big difference is their hand. A Belville figure has a mini-fig size grip... whist the Technic guys (are they only guys) have a bigger grip. BTW... this is just an observation... I'm no expert -- (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Scale of figures —Fredrik Glöckner
(...) Yup, the Technic figure can hold a cylinder with the same thickness as an axle of a pin (or a stud, but they are generally too short). However, a Technic figure can hold minifig accessory provided that he (yes, they are all males, (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Scale of figures —John Neal
The technic dudes are the same as the Belville folk, although when you mix them together, the Belville folk immediately try to rush the technic dudes to the Belville hospital for Hepatitis screens and quarantines. One doesn't realize the depth of (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Have you seen the size of their dad... I would not mess with him! (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Scale of figures —Charles Eric McCarthy
(...) They are about the same height, but the most important difference for me is that the Belville figures' butts are too wide to fit in the technic chairs. The Belville ladies really wanted to drive around the helicopters and dune buggies. /Eric (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Scale of figures —Ray Sanders
OK, that confirms my suspicions. I'm trying to build a scale model of my hopefully soon-to-be-built house. The Technics men are about the right size for the model, but I wanted some women as well. Are there any children at the Belville scale ? (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Scale of figures —John Neal
Yes, there are children. Try S@H. The new theme is a kind of fairy tale/Snow White/castle kind of thing. You know; the King, his daughter the Princess, the Prince, the Witch, the Fairy, etc, etc. Might be a little difficult to catch up on the older (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Scale of figures —Scott Arthur
Most of the figures are children. The mum and dad (and other adults) only come in a few sets. There is also a baby. John Neal <johnneal@uswest.net> wrote in message news:37B9B7FA.D0F112...est.net... (...) (25 years ago, 18-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
