A week of Lego fun.

My non-Lego wife and I have running battles about Lego being left around on the main floor of our home.  Last week she went on a
business trip, and guess what took over the whole house for a week?

It was great fun!  My 4 yr. old daughter is finally getting into Lego, building houses with me, and spaceships (I use the term
loosely--she is only 4) all on her own.  I just went through a major piece sorting project, and I found that having the buckets of
sorted Lego left out inspired all kinds of creativity.  I have one box of black and white 2X bricks, and came home one day to find a
b&w checkered "spaceship" waiting for me.  My son (8) and daughter collaborated to make a field of flowers using all the flowers we
have.

BTW, I found a great use for all those extra flower tops--stick them into the rounded trees at a 45 degree angle for a great
flowering tree.

Alas, all good things must come to an end, and (most) of the Lego has once again been banished to the upstairs.  When did you say
that regional conference is, Honey?
