I wonder if this is a response to the Istok CD? I ordered one so I can
compare.

What did they charge you, with shipping?
|
I just checked and its at least 25 euros (about $40!!!) for shipping.

The special edition costs 39,90. Add the 25,00 for shipping to the United
States and you get 64.90, which at todays exchange rate is about $102.29.
That seems crazy, but this is a reference book with 800+ pages and 8000 color
photographs -- thats a hefty book thats not cheap to print or cheap to ship
across the world.
Im going to order this book. I rationalize it by recalling the time I had to
pay $125 for a math textbook in college that only had about 100 pages. And I
know Im going to read this LEGO book a whole lot more than I read that
textbook.
