I wonder if this is a response to the Istok CD? I ordered one so I can compare.

Paul Sinasohn LUGNET #115 BAYLUG

Where did you order this new guide? I want one too.

I went straoght to the publsher’s website:

www.fantasiaverlag.de

Paul Sinasohn LUGNET #115 BAYLUG

What did they charge you, with shipping?

I just checked and it’s at least 25 euros (about $40!!!) for shipping.

Adr.

The special edition costs €39,90. Add the €25,00 for shipping to the United States and you get €64.90, which at today’s exchange rate is about $102.29.

That seems crazy, but this is a reference book with 800+ pages and 8000 color photographs -- that’s a hefty book that’s not cheap to print or cheap to ship across the world.

I’m going to order this book. I rationalize it by recalling the time I had to pay $125 for a math textbook in college that only had about 100 pages. And I know I’m going to read this LEGO book a whole lot more than I read that textbook.
