  lego site

(URL) I just found this site now that I have been goofing around on the web. You all might already know about it, but it has a good article on Lego that is easy to understand with a back to basics approach. John P (17 years ago, 18-May-07, to lugnet.general)

  Re: The Tequila Sunrise

(...) No, it would be too cool for the world to comprehend! Best to keep an eye out for Jesus while we're there;-) (...) Here's hoping so:-) JOHN (17 years ago, 18-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: The Tequila Sunrise

(...) Thanks, John! Coming from you I consider that high praise. With any luck you'll be able to see it with stickers at Brickworld*. But could the world survive the bringing together of two Polar Express on the same display table? Thanks for the (...) (17 years ago, 18-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

  Re: The Tequila Sunrise

(...) It's another Tequila sunrise! No, wait, this is the first one! Wow, that's as impressive a MOC as it is brightly colored, Tony! You've captured the streamlined twenties look very well-- nice and clean, and well-rounded. It looks fast just (...) (17 years ago, 17-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Happy Birthday, René!

My German isn't good, but from what I've gathered, you had a birthday this past week (12th?). 31, is it? Well, congratulations! We don't have enough communication going between Germany and the US because we hang out in our respective groups too (...) (17 years ago, 17-May-07, to lugnet.people, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: The Tequila Sunrise

(...) Thanks! I love Flickr, it's really helped the building process when it comes to things like these. There aren't too many shopes that carry the 4x4 dome piece I used around, but they are there. (URL) Thanks for the reply! --Tony (17 years ago, 17-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

  Re: The Tequila Sunrise

(...) Thanks! The stickers I intend to add won't do much to change the overall look, they'll mainly just be adding text too small to have been created through LEGO means. I had some reservations with the color scheme, but it was different so I went (...) (17 years ago, 17-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: The Tequila Sunrise

(...) Thanks! It helps that I gave up and spent the money on a good camera and a good lighting set up, after years of trial and error trying to make what little I had on hand work. This locomotive was a fun build, but a real pain to photograph given (...) (17 years ago, 17-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)

NELUG's second Window on the Comunity Installation

On May 8, NELUGer Mike Ripley brought in his model, and I took out mine. The swap went off without a hitch and we had a great time talking with Angela, the very helpful and enthusiastic store employee in charge that night. Even though it looks like (...)   Lego 321- School set

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about set #321 - School Set. I picked it up recently but the set database only mentions the set and name, but no pictures or inventory. Thank Jamie (17 years ago, 17-May-07, to lugnet.general)

  Re: The Tequila Sunrise

Nicely done Tony. I snuck in a few peeks on the Flickr page last week, and saw that it was really coming together. Turned out great. The cow-catcher came out very well using that method. I'm still dabbling with my Hudson streamline concepts... I (...) (17 years ago, 16-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: The Tequila Sunrise

(...) Great! Creates this nice envious 'want THAT too...'-feeling inside :-) It is okay to add stickers, but already not necessary, since it actually looks fully developed. Also the colour scheme is ok, it reminds a little bit of a comic style. (...) (17 years ago, 16-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: The Tequila Sunrise

(...) ... Hi, I'm guilty of never finding time to post feedback. Be assured that, with or without stickers, I greatly appreciate the originality of your trains MOCs and the care you take to present them to us through photos of quality. Didier (17 years ago, 16-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)

  The Tequila Sunrise

Here's my latest steam engine I've been working on. It's lacking stickers, but someday I'll find a printer that can print decent stickers from home. Till then I'll have to wait till I can find the time to borrow the use of my father's printer. (2 (...) (17 years ago, 16-May-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX) !!

Re: A few ways to use old skeleton arms!

(...) Indeed, the fit in the 1x1's is loose (my guess is it varies by arm), but the fit in the Technic cylinder is nice and tight! Dave S. (17 years ago, 16-May-07, to lugnet.parts, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Legoland Model Builder Search Finalist journal

I also enjoyed reading this (don't know how I missed it!) If it is any consolation I've admired a lot of your buildings and good* math teachers are in very short supply! (*)I'm just assuming ; ) I mean you like lego so... When you do get back and (...) (17 years ago, 14-May-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: A few ways to use old skeleton arms!

(...) I've had arms slip into the 1x1s before, but they seemed rather loose. Do they hold inside the pin connector any better? Jeff (17 years ago, 14-May-07, to lugnet.parts, lugnet.general, FTX)
