(...) Hundreds of dollars is what it should cost. What it would actually cost under the current LF system, even if the parts were available at all, would probably be thousands of dollars. (...) Dave, I checked my 320 box and mine says 123 Piece on both ends. I also noticed that my box says 320:270, where yours says 320 only. I've noticed this second number on many (most) Model Maker sets but I don't know what it means, or which style (...) (19 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.general)

(...) This brings up a good point. I've not tried the software yet, but it seems like it ought to work like this... Selecting a piece for a model not only results in the piece being shown in the model, but results in all of the "extra" pieces from (...) (19 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.general)

(...) Dave, Not surprised! There are a lot of "anomalies" to be found in 50's and 60's Lego. Some versions of the #236 Garage set show a garage with 1 1x6x2 (3 pane) window for the garage on the side of the box, and the end flaps show 3 1x2x1 (...) (19 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.general)

I recently submitted box scans of this set to Peeron, they'll probably be available in a couple of hours. The two end flaps of the box list DIFFERENT piece counts, one say 123 (like the rest of the box), the other says 124. I wonder if this is a (...) (19 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.general)

Took a crack at this, converted my yard tower design (as found in the Virtual LEGO book) as closely as I could (within reason, I switched to medium slope roof bricks since low slopes in a well rounded assortment in any earth tone are rare in that (...) I uploaded a model over lunch (about 3 hours ago now), and it's still not approved... which is reasonable, but I was rather hoping that they'd have some staff watching the incoming folder and approving things in more or less real-time the first few (...)
