After spotting another blooper in a LEGO catalogue from a number of years
ago I wondered if anyone had ever thought of creating a website to showcase
mistakes that TLG has made in promotional materials, instructions,
catalogues etc (all in the name of fun of course).
I myself could contribute at least two and I'm sure there are others out
there who could do the same or better.

| Hi Sanjay, I could contribute 2 out of this year, but whats the use just for fun ? Some mistakes are explained by the production technics RTL uses. The production of the catalogs is centralised in Denmark afaik. And they print catalogs in different (...) (25 years ago, 25-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

| (...) I discovered a major blooper back in the 1980's. Set 517 (the smallest of the basic sets back in the early 1980's) had 3 variations of the same set. Supposedly this set had (2) 1x2x2 yellow windows, and (2) 1x4x3 yellow frames (with red (...) (25 years ago, 25-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)
