You know, reading this I had an idea.

Someone mentioned using the 2x2 chrome dishes from aquazone
(originally used as actually reflectors for the 9v lights) as
treasure.  But what if you stuck one of those on top of a light
saber handle?  It might look like a nice big challis, or perhaps
a bowl or maybe even a trophy of some sort.  Either way, I bet
it would look pretty 'treasurey' :)

Anybody else evr do anything like this?

It sounds like you've got the basics.  Also try:
  - yellow 1x2 tiles for gold bars
  - All chrome pieces as valuable artifacts (crowns, broadswords and
    hydrolator crystals especially)
  - Invert a few yellow antennae, and put opaque 1x1 round plates on • the

  - Don't forget the safes from the Wild West sets.  Plain mailboxes • can

  - Chains are appropriate.  They always seem to show up in treasure • rooms.

You could also make the room slightly smaller.

Or build a mound in the middle of the room out of bricks, and cover • that
with the actual treasure.

Some trans-green and trans-red 1x1 flat rounds for jewels?

Try also some clear chalices to represent crystal, trans-clear 1x1 plate
rounds for diamonds, some 2x2-ish concave reflectors from the Aquazone • sets to
use as silver bowls (chrome was mentioned above). And if you have any • king
crowns...

when replying, don't play spamcake discs in your CD-ROM drive.

Don't forget silver bricks, gold grille tiles, chrome-green crystals • ('cause
they look really cool!), gems, gold coin sprues (gold nuggets), and
trans-antifreeze crystals (Topaz?).

Jeff

P.S.  For scepters, I always use a White 1x1x4 antenna capped with a trans • 1x1
cylinder plate.  My fav colors are Green (Emerald), Blue (Sapphire), and • Clear
(Diamond).

Hey if you make the vault big enough, you could put a London Bus in there as well ! (Does that qualify for Lego humor?) -Nick (25 years ago, 23-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) That would be me. (...) I just tried it with chalice. It's pretty big, so it looks better as a trophy. In a way it makes it look like a lamp. The light sabre hilt makes it look like the Olympic torch if you stick a flame in it! Way cool... Hey (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)
