  Classic Lego sets? (was Re: TLG 1998 Annual Report)
 
(...) I zipped thru a TRU the other day, and saw something new. Sets marked as "Classic". I was in a bit of a hurry, so I did not have a chance to do a close examination. (...) That appears to be the 'new' line of basic sets. The numbering scheme is in the 42xx range (4215, 4217, 4222, etc), and the contents don't appear to be much different from other basic sets. James (URL) (25 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) Classic sets are in the online catalog at (URL). They should be called 'FreeStyle Redux'. They seem to be the same pieces as FreeStyle, but with packaging featuring modern colors and no kooky creations. Steve (25 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)
