What do people think of these new flesh tone minifigs in the new HP and Spiderman sets? Is Lego going to completely phase out the ye ol' classic yellow minifigs? (20 years ago, 12-Apr-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) The new Millennium Falcon should have these as well. I don't object to the look of them when considered by itself, but I do heartily object to the fact that they changed the colors in mid-run for the various themes. What are the chances that (...) (20 years ago, 12-Apr-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) I wasn't too thrilled when I first heard that Lego was going to produce flesh toned minifigs for the licensed themes, but decided to put off judgement until I could see them "in the ABS". I now own two of the HP sets and all five of the (...) (20 years ago, 12-Apr-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) My understanding is that the fleshtone is reserved for figures which represent actual people, so generic mini-figs will still be yellow. Anyway, that's what we were told at Brickfest PDX, and I hope that will be the case. Pamela (20 years ago, 12-Apr-04, to lugnet.general)
