Hmmm... I'd say a 2X4 hinge piece in grey (conservative, yet flexible when I
need to be).  ;-)

when replying, note that velcro does not easily adhere to spamcake. (that's in
case you want to affix it to your belt for emergency self-defense situations:
blunt spamcake contusions can be quite nasty)
