(...) Why does every color have to be "bright & sharp"? Are you going to replace black with neon green because it's brighter? Can we see the official LEGO color palette? It must be documented somewhere. Peeron has their (URL) color palette>, (URL) (...) (21 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) The Peeron page is official? Cool! Now, is someone willing to organize it in such a way that it shows why these colors needed to be changed? Wait, that didn't quite sound right. Try again: It's great that these are 'official'. But a long (...) (21 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) My Color Tree won't tell you the 'why', only the Lego company can do that. It does group colors in the manner you describe - both the old known colors, as well as the new colors from the Peeron list. I've also tried to match as many old & new (...) (...) Actually, today's red is much different than '70s red. This color shocked me when I exited my dark ages and compared my '60s-'80s bricks with my '90s+. The old bricks are a deep rich color while the new ones are brighter and more transparent. (...) (21 years ago, 21-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)
