  Re: Netiquette

Kevin, I can use the same arguments about chronology for top posting...but the MAIN ADVANTAGE to top posting allows the email to be previewed and/or read without having to open the entire email...or at least it does this for those of us that use an (...)   Re: Netiquette

(...) It is a fairly widespread standard on discussion newsgroups (as compared to email). (...) This is fairly common for email, esp. in business contexts where retaining a complete copy of the original, for reference, is desirable. For newsgroups, (...)   Netiquette

I just noticed something when I went to reply to a post here at Lugnet that doesn't match up with the way I use email on a daily basis at work and everywhere else. In other words, who decided that when replying, the "Proper Netiquette" is that (...) (22 years ago, 28-Oct-03, to lugnet.general)

Emplacing a gem onto a minifig torso

I am wonder if anyone has attempted to place any type of gem onto a torso of a minfig? I would image that you would need to fill the torso with something so that when you place the gem on the torso it won't fall off. =) Is anyone here capable of (...)   Re: 2 Lego Stores open today!

As soon as i got home i tore open the designer set and put together a mecha, then i opened up the pick-a-brick cup and sorted the parts, i was actually suprised how much i got for only 12 bucks.   Re: Ancients Theme - armies, buildings, and cilivizations

(...) Excellent! I also like to build fairly 'big.' I find trying to scale a floorplan to actual minifig dimensions dictates a pretty large building. So, if live anywhere near New Hampshire..well, my castle can whoop your castle in a bit o' (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.castle, lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

Ancients Theme - armies, buildings, and cilivizations

I've been working on my Ancients Theme for past 3 years. I was a Castle fan but after witnessing the gigantic castles made by other Lego fans I decided to out do them. So to go one better, I decided to make MOCs far larger than a castle, so I moved (...) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.castle, lugnet.gaming.brikwars)
