  Re: Brad's talk

At Legoworld there were several cardboard boxes (I didn't count how many, but I assume it was around or over 10), but there were more kids and alduts than there was space around these boxes, so several shoppingbaskets were filled with bricks from (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brad's talk

(...) In this case it was a fortunate accident. Someone attempted to tilt the box, the result was that the bottom torned loose and fell out. Several AFOL's (including me) dived on it like a swarm of hornets and started eating themselves trough the (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brad's talk

(...) Ah, sounds chaotic enough :) The only thing we did was support the box a little on the side with a BASIC-bucket so we more easily could dig the corners. I'd love to empty the whole box into a larger container or move it part by part so nothing (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.general)

X-FUT: lugnet.general (...) We have now "inventoried" three sets of these boxes and for the major part they are the same. Some contain other elements though. For instance, the two I have been digging in has plenty of both rats and frogs while a (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.events.legoworld, lugnet.general)

Re: 2 Lego Stores open today!

(...) Saturday I work until 5. Erik Olson should be coming down to the store then too. (...) The construction on 355 has ended pretty much. There aren't any more barracades, no lanes closed, and they're just working on shoulders and tidying up the (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.loc.us.il, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.general)

Re: 2 Lego Stores open today!

I am definately going to have to pay the store a visit. I'm running low on most of my basic gray and black bricks and don't feel like waiting for bricklink, so ill have to grab a few cups. I was actually thinking of heading to woodfield this (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.loc.us.il, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.general)

  Re: Information about old bricks?

(...) That is a Pre-School brick. Made only by Samsonite, and only in two sets that I know of. Set 041 only had white & red bricks. (URL) blue one came in set 503 which had yellow, red, white, and blue. That set isn't listed on Lugnet, but here's a (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: 2 Lego Stores open today!

  Information about old bricks?

Hello, One of my co-workers brought in an old brick that his wife had, and was looking for some information on it. I'm fairly certain I have seen another post about this type of brick in the past, but I wasn't successful in tracking it down. Here is (...) (22 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: 2 Lego Stores open today -- Pick-A-Brick Inventory!

(...) Logically this means you should be able to fit about 826 1x2's in there, making the price about a penny each. Hmm... Are you taking orders? ;) ~Mike (22 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.loc.us.il, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.general)

Re: 2 Lego Stores open today -- Pick-A-Brick Inventory!

Re: 2 Lego Stores open today -- Pick-A-Brick Inventory!

(...) Looks to me like a flat rate per container. $13 for the large, $7 for the small. Anybody know the average number of 2x4 bricks you can fit into one of the large containers? Thanks, ~Mike (22 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.loc.us.il, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.general)

Re: 2 Lego Stores open today -- Pick-A-Brick Inventory!

(...) In the new brand stores, its by volume. $6.95 for a small cup, $12.95 for the large. I don't have cup measurements (ounces) yet. -Tim (22 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.loc.us.il, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: 2 Lego Stores open today -- Pick-A-Brick Inventory!
