  BIP blog re-launches!

After man hours of coding, I have relaunched the Building Instructions Portal blog! (URL) time around, there are several new features, including the ability to have more than one person posting. I've invited several guest bloggers to participate, so (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.general, lugnet.cad, lugnet.announce.biportal, lugnet.people)

  Re: Halloween bucket

That 1,300 piece 4405 tub looks promising. Toys R Us in the US is currently having a sale on the 4107 ($14.95 I believe.) But this tub has just too many 1x1 pieces... Thanks for the information. -- Bryan "BrikTrak.com" (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Halloween bucket

This is currently available from S@H in the UK - if you set your basket to UK and go to the 'bricks and buckets' section, you will see it. It's 9.99 (UK pounds) per tub for 200 pieces I believe, so not a good deal. I'm hoping they bring this out (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.general)

I was just browsing LEGO.com, and they put up their new Holiday Catalogue.   We're a band! We're a band! With guitars in our hand, we're crossing the land!

Well this is a first of sorts for me on several levels: It's my first time to use FTX for a post so if this fubar's, my apologies ahead of time. It's the first (and hopefully) the last time I'll use such a long title but I couldn't resist. Gold star (...)   Re: LEGOLAND® MASTER MODEL BUILDER SEARCH

As a former employee of the Model Shop at LLC am I exempt from being able to enter? Hey, I'm already trained in procedures, materials (glues), some heavy equipment, etc. Or, since this is a contest of such, are current/former employees bannded from (...)   Re: Are you going to try out?

(...) All very nifty, but... I hope that LEGO turns the LEGOMasterBuilder.com site on soon. It still says "LEGOMasterBuilder.com will launch on October 13, 2003" but today's the 14th. Given all the hype from the likes of Wired, expect some outraged (...) (22 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

Re: Are you going to try out?

(...) WIRED.COM has an article on the search for a new Master Builder. ¬ The article includes quotes from the original announcement, and from Russell Clark and myself, Aaron Sneary. It's really exciting that the media is interested in this job (...) (22 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)
