   Has accidently acquired clone bricks without realizing it? I just found a blue 1x4, a blue 1x3 and a few blue 1x2 bricks made by TYCO. Naturally, I threw these pieces in the garbage and promptly checked all my small-size blue bricks for any more. (...) (21 years ago, 4-Sep-03, to lugnet.general)

     (...) If you have purchased Lego® bricks from any other source other than sets or Bricklink you will likely have at lease a few off brand bricks in your collection.      (...) Ah, the Clone Crap Anthem... I've purchased lots on Ebay that were alleged to be entirely one brand of clone but which turned out to contain several brands in a mix. I've likewise purchased lots that were listed as complete clone-brand sets (...) (21 years ago, 4-Sep-03, to lugnet.general)

When I was brand new to E-bay I got a set of 6 or 8 Lego vehicles, but when they came I found that one of them was TYCO and another was (even worse) glued. :( I also bought a bag of bricks at a second-hand store and it turned out they (...)
