| | Orlando PaB -- Initial Report Mike Case
|
| | I was able to get my first look at the Pick-a-Brick section in Orlando today. (Thanks go out to Frelan Collett for the ride.) My first impression was that it was smaller than I expected. The Pick a Brick display is basically a four sided rack with (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.fl.orl)

| | | | Thanks for the report. Those (white) 30077 archy fences are one of my favorite parts (I really liked the yellow ones.) -Erik waiting for Chicago (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.fl.orl)

| | | | I have uploaded some pictures of the P-A-B setup to brickshelf. I included pictures of all of the bins in case my color listings were unclear. | | | | | | The display as well as the containers, seem to be fairly similar to that of LIC Anaheim. However, the selection of some of the special bricks is different. For those of you wondering what LIC Anaheim Pick-A-Brick looks like, these pictures are (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.fl.orl, lugnet.market.shopping)

Do you have any other tips on how to maximize brickage? :) I want to stop by there later today and see how many (...) (21 years ago, 7-Sep-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

| | | | Thank you for having posted that summary of the Orlando PaB! I just got back from there, and the selection is a little different from what you saw last week. Specifically, the bin which used to hold 1x2 clear colorless bricks is now empty, and there (...) (21 years ago, 7-Sep-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.fl.orl)

I considered that, but if you stack your bricks or otherwise arrange them in a generally right-side-up way in the container, they'll trap air bubbles beneath instead of getting filled with water.
