From what I was told today by an employee at the Orlando LIC, the

PaB should be in operation in a couple of weeks.

Ooh, so that's what all the recent renovations have been about...

Tell me more about Pick-a-Brick?  I searched Lugnet and found a little
bit of information about it, but I'm still unclear on the concept.  It
looks like it offers hundreds of candy-bins full of Lego pieces and you
can take a quarter-pound's worth for $7?  How many pieces is a
quarter-pound, roughly?  And what's the selection of pieces like -- is
it possible to get lots of basic bricks in rare colors?

I'm sure it'll be like LLCA, some rare stuff, some just normal, $6.99 a pound
