I'm sure that at least one could return . In the scene in which deathstar blown-up at the back ground, at least one Y-wing was accompanying to the several (2 or 3) X-wings. By the way, in the old X-wing computer game, the Y-wings were quite reliable (...) (26 years ago, 1-Nov-98, to lugnet.general)

Yeah, this mission was an X-wing mission. (and they were not freighters, they were troop transports..and it was not a star destroyer, it was a Nebulon-B frigate...and it was absolutely not impossible. Just fire twin torpedoes to each of the (...) (26 years ago, 2-Nov-98, to lugnet.starwars)
