I had this identical problem, so it's not just you.
Certain colors are *horribly* rendered, such as the orange in the Star Wars
mini sets (check out the pod racers-- the orange in Sebulba's racer is way
off). It doesn't always lead directly to confusion, depending on the size and
parts selection of the set, but some of the mini set instructions are so far
off I was somewhat shocked. Sure, I expect it to get better, but esp. for a
small set that only takes a few minutes to quality-check, it was pretty
disappointing.
