I'm missing a key piece,
perhaps you relate.
It's just a small piece,
a 1x1 brown plate.
My mountains have paths,
that could be of wood.
My chalets have brown walls,
Or - well - they SHOULD!
My huge bins of plates,
they have no small browns.
I dig through my "sort pile".
But nope. I frown.
I search through my basement.
I look fast and mean.
The Statue of Liberty's great.
But too green.
Yoda's all earthtone,
and yields just tan plates.
Harry Potter's magic fails.
There's brown - but it's grates!
I search all around.
I stop and I think.
I turn to The Resource,
the almighty Bricklink.
But Bricklink yields nothing,
It looks like I'm stuck.
So I check parts at Peeron.
Hey I may be in luck!
It seems that there's one set,
one set that has brown.
Oh no. It's Darth Maul's bust.
Man, am I down.
Oh LEGO, Oh LEGO,
Why do this to us?
It's such a small part!
This is so unjust.
I sigh to myself.
I know what to do.
I grab my swiss knife.
And a brown ... one by two.

| You guys are all nuts, That much can be said. I think you have fallen, And bonked your poor head. Brown plates or blue ones, No matter your vice. Are not as important, As a lower bulk price. | What can I say? You've all hit the wall. Why do you bother to write poems at all? So a small piece is missing frustrating maybe, but think what we have we've come along way. | My suspicions have been met I can tell you that now that you AFOLS are intent on scooping bulks like plows!
