They may very well be, but that is not the case with the wall elements. They
are *supposed* to be textured that way.

| (...) I went and checked some of my walls, and it does indeed seem that around 1996 or 1997 the "feel" of the walls' outer surface changes. But it's subtler than I would have expected--less gloss, more matte, but I hadn't figured it was a conscious (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

| Hmmm, Not all newer castle walls are like the ones I got. The gray corners were lighly textured and have a little gloss, the printed corners are pretty darn glossy, The Guarded Inn re-issue gray walls have a light bumby texture but still have some (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)
