I use the ImageMagick tools (on Linux) to do this, but I don't know if
they work on a Micro$oft Window$ system.

| I use a Windows version on Windows 2000, not sure if it works on other versions. The Web page indicates that there is a version for Win 95/98 too. I have used it mostly for making thumbnails, but the package has a large number of other functions (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-02, to lugnet.publish)
