That is incorrect. While the cookies themselves no longer expire, they are
still invalid after a fixed time (~3 hours of inactivity). nonetheless,
it is still a good idea to use the logout feature :).
In the future, there will be an option to stay permanently logged in, as well
as be logged in from multiple machines.

| (...) This is the first report I have had of the site actually crashing people's browser/machine. Brickshelf uses extremely simple html that shouldn't be too challenging for any browser. What browser version and OS version are you using? Also, I (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.general)
