There is a big difference between the two in my opinion.The majority of
folders/pics uploaded to Brickshelf by Lugnet posters are MOCs,CAD
renderings things which "belong" on Brickshelf.They are the reason
Brickshelf was created for in the first place.(Correct me if I'm wrong
here.).Besides most Lugnetters use Brickshelf independently of Lugnet.They
post their pics and inform us via Lugnet that they have done so.In the case
of BZ, a majority of the pics posted on Brickshelf are avatars and recently
not even Lego related.Its almost as if Brickshelf is used as an extension to
the BZ website to display these pics.All I'm saying is that if the BZ admin
takes the trouble to consolidate these pics once a week and post them as a
single folder it will help organize these pics.This benefits not only those
who want to see the pics(All in one folder once a week) but also those who
don't.Having pointed the readers of his website to Brickshelf I think its
only fair that he takes some responsibility for their "behaviour" on the
site.The alternative would be to post the pics on his own site which means
the same amount of work if not more.
