Re: NEW 2002!!! MONSTERS!!! YODA!!! —Jeremiah VanderMark
(...) I wouldn't be too worried. I assume by the prices and past sets that they meant *Technic* Jango Fett. Both Fett and the new super battle droid would lend themselves nicely to the technic figures line, I bet. What catches my eye are these "MS (...)         Re: NEW 2002!!! MONSTERS!!! YODA!!! —Kevin Johnston
(...) This is at least the second time I've seen it referred to a "Creator Jango Fett", so while I agree this almost certainly refers to the Technic models, I wonder if the name-change is legit. General reply to the topic: Frankly I'm relieved to (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.starwars)

Re: NEW 2002!!! MONSTERS!!! YODA!!! —Kevin Johnston
(...) Hey... the Monster Lab set has an SRP of $160!! I take it to mean this set has a full camera set-up in it. The other Monster sets aren't cheap, either, $60-$90, which is fine with me, I hope these are great, detailed sets, not just figure (...)          Re: NEW 2002!!! MONSTERS!!! YODA!!! —Ken Dowd
(...) Kevin, These sets might not be as detailed as you wish (but hopefully they will still be great sets). The website is a distributor and he sells everything in multiples. If you look again you'll see that the $160 price is for two Monster Labs. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2002)

Re: NEW 2002!!! MONSTERS!!! YODA!!! —Kevin Johnston
(...) Argh, I'm sure you're right-- and I even wondered whether "each" referred to one item, or a case. I think it's bizarre to refer to an "SRP" for a "case", but oh well. Anyway the idea of all of them being $60+ was just crazy, I definitely let (...) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2002)

Re: NEW 2002!!! MONSTERS!!! YODA!!! —Jeremiah VanderMark
(...) As cool as it would be to get another camera set (and do we really *need* another one?), that SRP is for the shipment of two sets - the prices are for the retailers. Still, though, at $80 it's gonna be a big set. And I'm with you on the (...) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2002)

Re: NEW 2002!!! MONSTERS!!! YODA!!! —Kevin Johnston
(...) See other reply, I'm sure you guys are right. Clearly not a camera set at this price, though as the line ages and the core Studio set becomes less appealing, it might behoove Lego to sell a stripped-down camera+software set for new buyers. (...)         Re: NEW 2002!!! MONSTERS!!! YODA!!! —Jeremiah VanderMark
(...) Ah, confirmed. I just noticed the 'next' button at the bottom of the page, and the Technic Artoo and Vader are listed as 'creator' for some bizarre reason... -jeremiah- (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.starwars)
