  Green Dress?

Hi all, I vaguely remember seeing a MOC that had two minifigs. One was a red girl I believe named Holly) and a green girl (named I think Ivy). Anyway the green fig had a green dress piece (like the Witch bottom only green) on. I was wondering if (...) (23 years ago, 26-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Green Dress?

I dunno -- these sound like they might have been made by Craig Hamilton. I have jpgs and gifs matching your approximate descriptions but I am unsure of the names (botanical names sounds like Craigo too). I don't think he'd mind if I sent them to you (...) The pict is here: (URL) post was here: (URL) is the one in green & Merry is the one in red. :) The slope didn't come as a part in any set; but the hair piece came in the #6713 Grip-n-Go Challenge. --Mike. (...) (23 years ago, 27-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Green Dress?

Speaking purely from me (admittedly vague) memory. Didn't some of the classic castle sets have maidens with dresses? Could this piece be from one of those sets? I seem to remember that one of the big castles themselves had a maiden with a dress, but (...) (23 years ago, 27-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

hmm... I think peeron has most if not all of the castle sets (esp older) but I don't see any green minifig dresses in there: (URL) even patterned ones. (...) (23 years ago, 27-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Green Dress?

Yes my mistake, I was thinking of 6098 King Leo's Castle, which if memory serves (and looking at the picture on Lugnet) has a blue one, not a green one. Richard. "Jennifer L. Boger" <jenn@peeron.com> wrote in message news:3C03D5B8.704@peeron.com... (...) (23 years ago, 27-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Green Dress?

Steve, The piece, aka minifig dress, is listed as a regular slope: Slope Brick 65 2 x 2 x 2 (3678) (URL) is the same size as the printed witch piece. Unfortunately, Peeron doesn't list which set had it in green. They also don't list the trans-clear (...) (23 years ago, 27-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Green Dress?

So this piece was a custom then? (If so, its a very good one) (...) (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Green Dress?

No, it's not a custom piece, nor is it painted -- though it is scratched up from being used and it is a real LEGO element. I'm not really at liberty to say how I came by the piece, other than a AFL friend [1] of mine sent it to me. When I received (...) (23 years ago, 4-Dec-01, to lugnet.general)
