Complete 100% agreement here with all of your points.
It almost seems to be a reflection on the general state of LEGO product.
The "new" stuff is good, but the "old" was far superior! The old Lugnet
format was easier and more fun to reply to, the new homepage is almost too
formal, and the *security* measures instituted to keep out the troll are
killing the forum. Changing back to the old way might be like asking LEGO
to go back to making all 1986 through 1996 sets (or at least by the same set
quality), not just Legends. All points made below by Nick are valid and
worth consideration.
