So, where is Lego's creativity?

The imagination and creativity has always come from the people who play with
the toys, not the company who designs them.  There isn't really anything
creative about building a LEGO kit by the instructions, no matter how good the
model/theme is.

Lets see what's new at Lego

1. More licenced themes - no originality there then
- Jurassic Park

Is it Jurassic Park, of just Jurassic Park III they have a liscence for?  I
would love this theme if they gave it the same attention and detail as the Star
Wars line: Mini-figs resembling the characters! Classic models of the visitors
centre, the jeeps, the InGen helicopter, the outhouse the T. rex knocked over,
etc.  And that cool lime-green tour car as a Model Team set!  But instead they
limit themselves to the third movie (possibly because they have to?) which has
less to build from- and they don't even do a proper 'bird cage' or 'dinosaur
factory' set.  And they put cameramen in the sets?  I understand that these are
Studios, but no one wants to see the little cameramen in their movie anyway!
