I visited Google Groups (groups.google.com) today and noticed that they have apparently finished their re-indexing of dejanews' usenet archive. You can now search for usenet posts back to early '95. It'll be neat to look through some early r.t.l (...) (23 years ago, 25-May-01, to lugnet.general)

I found my first post: (URL) you can tell by the number of times I posted, most with at least one broken link, I had no idea how to use Usenet at the time :) I never took the time to figure out how to reply to a post either... Whoa.....that is pretty scary.....all that stuff I said archived forever. ...and all of the four zillion ISPs and e-mail addresses that I went through (not ot mention 50 different incomplete out of date web pages!) (...) I cleaned out the local TRU of all their women's soccer team stock when they came out. My wife (a natural blonde)is also really happy since she can now "be" in our Lego town.
