Hello all,

I have always wondered the following regarding what other people do with • their
sets:

If you have a set, do you keep all of it's pieces together and not use • them for
other things, or do you just mix all the parts in with your other pieces • and
know you have the set because you have the instructions?

Personally, I keep all my sets together(not built, but all the original • parts
with each other) and build only with parts that are either from duplicate • sets
or are pieces that I bought from Brickbay or something.  Perhaps this is a
stupid thing to wonder, but I've always been curious what others do.

I too keep all sets together. The first time I get a set I build it, display
it for a while then take it apart and put them in ziplock bags for storage.
All baseplates are stored in a rubermaid 20 gallon tub. All other sets are
parts.

Only problem is after a while this takes a lot of room. Currently I have 9 -
20 gallon tubs of nothing but sets including the one for baseplates. (I'm
now working on a 10 gallon for overflow baseplates.) All parts are in a
spare bedroom full of plano plastic shelves with sterlite shoebox size
palstic tubs for all extra pieces. This is an expensive way to store parts,
but when you have this many, it works for me. This seems to be getting to
the point of .storage so I'm stopping now.

Anyway here's some picts:
