  buyer beware? or is it me...
 
howd all, first i'd like to say that i'm not trying to piss anyone off w/ this: however, i've purchased a few lego sets online (used) and they are costly and so far have been in much worse condition than they were advertised. i'm not talking a (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

The best you can hope for is to return the items for payment. Ebay fraud is a waste of time. Telling people the bad dealer's name may help others in the future, although it's doubtful. I've had the same thing happen more than once, and even from (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

I've been lucky with what i've bought (only a 6378), and i was very lucky indeed, it was only missing 3 parts and i got it for $25 total (from Aus.), another one that same week (from canada) went for $35! Hi Paul, I've been nailed with this a few times. Besides trying to go after the seller, I have some suggestions for the high-value parts. You can get the scratches out by using a product called Flitz (get it at your hardware store). It takes a good (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)
