howd all,
first i'd like to say that i'm not trying to piss anyone off w/ this:
however,
i've purchased a few lego sets online (used)
and they are costly and so far have been in much worse condition
than they were advertised.
i'm not talking a little wear here,
i'm talking about a whole set of pieces most of which
are unusable due to grooves from knivies scratched into
the pieces or transparent pieces that are not even
transparent anymore due to the network of scratches on
them.
Once i took a scouring pad to my microwave oven door...
DOH!!!! oops. but that's what these pieces look like.
now I prefer to buy MISB as do most folks,
but I am just looking for a little guidance here since
obviously I'm missing something.
any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
thx much
-paul
