I'm really sick, at home, today, so I take the opportunity to answer...
> Do you make things you consider art?
Yes, sort of. The renderings I make I consider as much 'art' as any other
pictures I produce (be it painting, photography or other means). I have a hard
time thinking of Lego models as 'art', even the sculptures of Eric H. and
others, I don't know why.
> Do you consider your Lego creations artworks?
No. Not the physical ones, only the virtual, and then only sometimes...
I think of Lego models more as 'illustrations' than 'art'.

No.

With the alternatives given above, my answer is 'No'.
I prefer to call computer programming a 'creative field' too, and with that
definition the answer is 'Yes'.

Not really.

special purposes (as if green only could be painted in the upper left corner
of a canvas).
> If you don't consider your Lego creations art, why not?
See above.

Just look at any 2 year old's constructions :-)

| I am really bored at work today so I am taking this opportunity to ask all you LUGNET people questions which have been interesting me a bit. I spend much of my time away from work making art. I consider myself, in part, an artist. Unfortunately this (...) (24 years ago, 16-Feb-01, to lugnet.general)
