Hi Scott,
I've picked up two of these in garage sales for $1.00 apiece (including
extra legos). I think they're kind of neat, but not very practical. I know
one sold on ebay for $20. I hope that helps! I like to show them to people
as a conversation piece when touring my lego room. hehheh I thought I might
use them once in a while, but I haven't yet! I believe it is fairly rare to
find one still sealed in a box.

I've also picked up two at garage sales, and I sold one of them (including all pieces, but not mint-- you could tell a kid had "vacuumed" up crayons with it) on eBay last year for about $17.50 IIRC. I would say it's rare to find one MISB, but (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)
